Town of Bourbon Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project Public Hearing Notice On or about December 15. 2020. Town of Bourbon intends mo apply to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Altairs for a grant from the State Com- munity Development Block Grant (COBG) Drinking Water Program (Stellar Funding). This program is funded by Title of the federal Housing and Com- munity Development Act f 1974, as amended. These Hunds are to be used for a com- munity development project that will include the following activities: improvements to the existing sanitary sewer system with in the Town of Bourbon. The total amount of CDBG funds to be requested is S840.000. The amount of CDBG funds proposed to be used for activities that wil benefit low- and moderate-in- come persons is $472, 080 The Applicant also proposes to expend an estimated $243,000 in non-CDBG funds on the pro- ject. These non-CDBG funds will be derived from the follow- ing sources: Cash on hand within the Wastewater Utiity Operating Fund. The Town of Bourbon will hold a public hearing on Tuesday. December 8, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., in the Bourbon Town Hal at 104 East Park Avenue, Bour- bon, Indiana to provide inter- ested parties an opportunity to express their views on the pro- posed federally funded CDBG project. Persons with disabili- ties or non-English speaking persons who wish to attend the public hearing and need assis- tance should contact Kimberly Berger, Clerk-Treasurer at (574) 342-4755 no later than Friday. December 4, 2020. Every effort will be made to make reasonable accommoda- ions for these persons. Information related to this pro- ject will be available for review prior to the public hearing as of November 23, 2020 at the of- fice the Town of Bourbon Clerk-Treasurer at 104 East Park Avenue, Bourbon, Indi- ana, between the hours of 8:00 am. to 4:00 p.m. Monday - Fri- day.
