UNIVERSAL BEARINGS LLC HAs AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FoR A PAYROLL & AccOUNTING CLERK This position is responsible for processing hourly payroll, as well as recording customer payments, issuing credit memos, and reconciling payment discrepancies for Accounts Receivable For Payroll, will use AS400/Optimum payroll software, as well as it's Time and Attendance program Responsible for processing and tracking garnishments, as well as processing and recording payroll deductions For Accounts Receivables, responsible for bank deposits and processing customer payments. Will be responsible for contacting customers regarding issues with payments received. Required to prepare monthly statements as well as monthly Accounts Receivable closings. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience preparing/process in-house payroll in an industrial manufacturing environment. Must have basic accounting knowledge and data input skills. Must be computer literate, proficient in MS Office products, have good communication skills, and be detailed oriented.
