FULL-TIME LEAD MECHANIC The Starke County Highway Department is accepting applications for a full-time lead mechanic. The successful candidate must be able to perform major and minor repairs to county diesel trucks and heavy equipment, administer relevant diagnostic tests, inspect and maintain hydraulic systems, evaluate the serviceability status of department vehi- cles and equipment and maintain service records. The ability to safely use a welding torch and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively is also required.
