Summerfest 2022 Please note the dates of the first two events, as we have moved them back 1 week from normal in the past. These 2 events will be held one week before the Summerfest Week-end. So they do not interfere with Triton School events, since school starts prior to the Summerfest week-end. Friday, August 5th - Little Miss Summerfest Pageant Triton High School Auditorium - Doors open at 5:45pm- Pageant at 6:00pm Cutie King & Cutie Queen Contest Ages (2-5) and Cutest Baby (Newborn - 2 years) will be at 6:45 inside Triton High School West Entrance at office area. A small cash donation received at the door is appreciated, it helps fund the pageant Saturday, August 6th 14th Annual Jacob's Run - In memory of Jacob Berger 8:00 am - 5K Run 8:45 am - Fun Run Registration at Ernie Watkins Pavilion (Football Field Ticket Booth) Triton High School Parking Lot Thank you Joel Faulkner for keeping this event organized yearly Bourbon Summerfest Weekend Friday, August 12th evening Annual "Wooden Bat" tournament hosted by Joey Potter - held at Bourbon Community Park Ball Fields Games will continue Saturday afternoon leading to the Championship game. Saturday, August 13th - Parade Theme "Make Everyday Special" 9:00-10:30-Bourbon Summerfest Parade Lineup at Triton High School Parking Lot Registration near Ernie Watkins Pavilion - Restrooms available in Ernie Watkins Pavilion 10:30-11:00-Parade judging 11:00-Departure from parking lot to parade route led by Bourbon Volunteer Fire Department Saturday Activities at Triton High School after parade ends Bounce Houses, Kids Games, Food Booths, Craft Vendors, Magic Show, Tractor Show, Music, Hot Air Balloons, Bicycle Stunt Team, Fun for All 1:00 - Kevin Wilson (Magic Show) - all ages, fun for all, free admission in the Triton High School Auditorium Deane Leeper Memorial Tractor Show-Antique tractors on display all day 2:00-Chip Dean of Integrity Academy of Martial Arts-Team arrives after participating in parade, will perform a demon- stration at Triton High School "Puppet Shows" by Rick Blue-Several Puppet Shows will be presented throughout the aftermoon as time permits. These are Christian based shows, with a good wholesome message for the kids - 2:30-Performance by The Trojan Singers-Triton High School Auditorium 5:00- "Wonder Wheels BMX Stunt Team" will perform a high energy show featuring talented riders performing amaz ing stunts. Great entertainment for the whole family for all ages 6:00-Music on Triton High School front lawn by Quentin Flagg, bring your golf cart or lawn chairs +6:30 - Hot Air Balloon Launch, we will be launching two hot air balloons on the High School North lawn. These balloons are 80 feet tall and are great to watch as they inflate and launch, weather permitting. - 7:00 Dave Caswell and his Police Dog "Chase" Demonstration - Approximately 7:00, exact time to be announced, as per State Policeman - Dave Caswell's schedule - 7:00 pm - Prepackaged free ice-cream by High School Superintendent-Jeremy Riffle, main sidewalk by high school entrance while supplies last 7:30-Steve Neldig Memorial Hot Air Balloon Glow - 3 hot air balloons will be performing the hot air balloon glow in memory of Steve Neidig A beautiful sight to see-sit in your golf cart or lawn chairs and enjoy the show Fireworks - At dark, approximately 9:30 to 10:00-Best display of fireworks in the area. Presented by the Bourbon Volunteer Fire Department, led by Chief Chad Stepp Golf Cart Cruise In-Our festival is Golf Cart friendly - Please drive safely, sit in the comfort of your golf cart and watch the activities. We would love to see as many golf carts as possible at the festival Saturday afternoon and evening. Sunday - August 14th Bourbon Community Breakfast - 7:30 to 10:30am By Bourbon American Legion Auxiliary in Triton Elementary Cafeteria. Great Food!! 35th Annual Bourbon Street "Show and Shine" Car Show Show vehicle entry fee - $10.00 Spectators - Free Registration 8:00 - 11:30 am -Car show 11:30-3:00-Awards- 3:00 pm Bourbon Antique Tractor Ride -Line-up-7:00-9:00 am- At Triton High School parking lot 9:00 departure, approximately 3-hour ride * Please bring protection for trailer ramps to protect parking lot asphalt Thanks to the Town of Bourbon and Triton High School for working with the Summerfest Committee for making this festival possible for the community.
