RTC Fiber Communications is currently seeking applicants for the following position. Customer Support This position is to provide top-notch Customer Support by gathering customer info, analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for RTC's customers (including & not limited to Voice, Internet and CATV services). This position is part of a team-based environment that also provides internal Company Support and plays a key role in managing customer communications Majority of work is inside and at the main office although some onsite customer location trips are also needed. Must be proficient in communication whether verbal, email or text Skills/Education Needed: . A valid driver's license. .High School Diploma or GED. College-level education in IP related fields and/or Computer Science is desired, as this position largely involves IP-based issues. Networking and IT Security knowledgebase is also helpful A Technology based mindset that is open to constant learning and Must have knowledge on how to us a PC and MAC computer and be Device knowledgebase is desired (ie: routers, streaming devices growing familiar with both Operating Systems gaming devices, SmartTV's, VolP devices) RTC offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package.
