Trinity Baptist Church

For several years people in this community had been interested in having a church established. In the fall of 1924 a brush arbor was built in which to have a revival. Much enthusiasm was shown, and on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1924, Trinity Baptist Church was organized with 24 charter members, in the home of Ernest Bowman. To emphasize its missionary nature and its cooperative spirit an offering of $24 was given that day for the Thomasville Baptist Orphanage, now known as "Mills Home."
