Congregate meals are served to seniors over the age of 60 at two locations in Starke County: 311 E Culver Road, Knox and 105 E Talmer Avenue, North Judson. Meals should be reserved 3 weeks prior by calling 574-772-7070 (Knox site) or 574-896- 3665 (North Judson site). A $3.00 donation per meal is requested. Homemaker services are available to seniors. Energy Assistance Programs include the federally funded energy assistance program which awards a one-time benefit to the heat or electric vendor for households that meet income guidelines, and other utility assistance funded by other sources.
